Various AT&T reps have confirmed to PhoneNews.com that AT&T has ordered an immediate halt to sales of the Nokia 6650 clamshell nationwide due to a network enhancement being rolled out in South Florida causing the clamshell to suffer noticeably decreased battery life and even triggering constant phone resets.
As the unnamed network enhancement is meant to be deployed nationwide, AT&T had no choice but to pull the phone from sale instructing dealers and reps to ship all unsold phones to its Dallas distribution center, with no immediate word on what affected consumers should do.
